It was striking to see this old saying on a busy high-street. What a metaphor I thought for a beginning. It is our routine to wake up and think about everything that we consider ‘worrying’ and without even realizing, these life-draining habit of focusing on all the negative vibes consume our energy without even realizing how blessed are we to see a beautiful new day that brings hope and freedom. A day that gives us another opportunity to achieve and liberty to create and invent. The ‘will’, to ‘tune’ into the melody that is most appropriate to the moment living and and to live. We have the freedom to build our lives based on our desire and in doing so, a responsibility to create a path for our children thus a new generation of human, continue succeeding based on the experience of their forefathers.

The names of Nasir al-DIn al-Tusi and Ibn al-Nafis may be less familiar to scholars and academics of the modern age than those of Isaac Newton or Albert Einstein. But their work (and many others) in the 12th and 13th centuries created an enlightening path into modern science. A number of modern scholars, notably (Robert Briffault, Will Durant, Fielding H. Garrison, Alexander von Humboldt, Muhammad Iqbal, Abdus Salam, and Hossein Nasr), believes modern science to have begun from Muslim scientists, who were pioneers of the scientific method and introduced a modern empirical, experimental and quantitative approach to scientific inquiry Continue reading »

Beauty and history, names one of the most romantic places on earth. It is believed that nearly 7 million tourists visit the province of Florence every year. The Italian Renaissance and history of art now pays off the nation, as Florence is one of the most visited places on earth. Also famous for its ancient stories and romance.

When taking a walk on the dark bricked and uneven roads, the pathways fenced with white umbrellas and at times violins fill the emptiness, changing the mood to nothing but romance. That reminds me of Rome, when such scenes complete with roses all around. Men are approached to have roses for the women of their dream. It may not be what man always wants but certainly every women expects man to show their feelings. And they say..a rose symbolizes love Continue reading »

Launching a new constitution does not mean a funeral of the past. Nor it may be eternal. Getting reforms when necessary is vital as long as man lives. It is not uncommon for man to seek self fulfillment and pleasure from this shorter life they spend on earth. We make mistakes, we do great things and we have the responsibility to build our lives that is just and fulfilling. A three long decade of Qayyoom’s presidency is frustrating us. For at least now, because we expect something better and prosperous. But does that mean, we need a new beginning? Or is it the responsibility of Qayyoom’s rivalry to show the public an effective approach to generate results and serve the public better?

Although it is a misery to live in unjust for too long, it is also an opportunity to create something better and lasting. A system that is based on faith and trust. The undeniable fact is, man are always challenged with ups and downs in this journey we call ‘life’. Continue reading »
